The healslut thing.
I get this question every once in a while and figured I'd give some explanation to why I like it and what it is. For those who do not know, in normal rpg or team based games there are three general roles. DPS which stand for damage per second and are usually the main form of inflicting damage on the other team, tank which basically protects team mates, create space or attracts the attention of the other team and healer/support which keeps the team alive or in some way buffs/improves their skills.
In gaming there is a general stereotype given to these roles that most are aware of but till recently hasn't been verbalized super much. Its that tanks are almost always men, dps are the aggressive type of player also usually men, and healers are usually girl players. Till recently girls have always not always been respected as "pro" gamers and thus the stereotype is that they play healer because it is the easier role to play.
The healslut thing sexualizes that as well. I'm attracted to things like dominant men, emasculation, being put in a girls place and such. I'm also into it beyond the fetish and towards lifestyle. The healslut thing allows that dynamic to be in gaming.
There are other dynamics that appeal to me. For example, when teams win, they almost always believe its because the dps or tanks played so well and essentially carried the healer. When a team loses, this is often blamed on the healer because if she kept them alive, they clearly would of won eventually. I kind of like the its always the healer's/girl's fault mentality and there are a few reasons for this.
One of the things i like about gender roles, stereotypes, male superiority and all of that stuff is how easy it makes things. Can't agree on something, it's the man's choice. Sexually, it should be about what the man likes and no mutual satsifaction, that takes away all the stress of having to, sometimes incompatible interests work on both parties. Why did the group fail, the girl/healer couldn't even do that simple role.
There are other things too. By nature healers/girls are more humble then dps/tanks/men are. Men naturally compete with each other and are always working to elevate each other. If the they can all blame the girl, it allows the guys to save face while self evaluation. Furthermore, because of the natural more aggressivness, I like the idea of men de-stressing on their girl/healer after bad matches or celebrate after victories. I'll probably polish this up in like a week, but it gives a good idea of my appeal to this.
As for actually doing this, there are two situations which I'm actively looking for, and doubt i'll quickly, but I'm patient. One is to find a competitive stack/team in Overwatch I can be the healer for or a static in FFXIV i can heal for as their healslut. The other is a local gamers/friends who'd like to actually be friends and maybe mixing this into our gaming.
